Lola has now raised over $1000 for Hospice in memory of her grandfather, Bruce Schoenne! This amazing young lady donates proceeds from her company “Beads for Needs” and has now made four generous donations. Your hard work and dedication is so appreciated Lola – thank you from everyone involved with Hospice!!

Join us on Thursday, November 28th, 7:00 p.m. at the Penticton Seniors’ Centre for our AGM.  You will learn a little bit about Hospice House, the Hospice Society and our events and achievements over the past year. We encourage you to come out and you are welcome to become an annual member for just $15 or a lifetime member for $100.  Hope to see you there!

Close to $2700 was raised for the Penticton & District Hospice Society thanks to the Penticton Elvis Society’s support!  Spectators generously donated while watching the Elvis Gospel show on June 30th in Penticton – thanks to all who donated and thanks to our volunteers who collected the funds.

Spring 2019 Newsletter

Hospice Palliative Care Week (May 5 – 11, 2019) wrapped up with the award of two prizes. Lucky winner of flight for two anywhere Westjet flies went to Rachel Kostiuk; second prize of a $1000 Rona gift card went to Brad Steed – congratulations to you both!

The Penticton & District Hospice Society thanks Westjet and Rona for their generous donations to help raise awareness and funds for the Hospice Society and also would like to thank Cherry Lane Shopping Centre, Bell Media, Penticton Herald and our valuable volunteers for their continuing support.

Nine year old Lola Latchford has found a creative way to raise money for the Penticton & District Hospice Society in memory of her Grandfather, Bruce Schoenne who passed away in Moog & Friends Hospice House last year. She makes beautiful bracelets and donates a portion of her sales from her company “Beads for Needs” to Hospice. This week, Lola (right) presented $150 to Catey Brenton, P&D Hospice Society administrator. Thank you Lola!
