SPECIAL EVENT VOLUNTEERS

Hospice Society Special Events Volunteers help out at our 3 events: Memory Lane, Hospice Day and Celebrate A Life.

Duties may include:

Set up and take down of:

Tables, chairs, canopy, Christmas trees, banners and other signage.

Volunteers engage with the public to share information about Hospice services at event tables by handing out informational pamphlets.

Volunteers are responsible to take cheque/cash donations at the events and to fill out donor details for Income Tax qualified donations.

Volunteers help out on Earth Day to plant pots in the Hospice House Gardens.

Penticton & District Hospice Society – National Volunteer Week 2025

Celebrating Our Hospice Music Volunteers · April 27 – May 3

During National Volunteer Week, we honor the incredible musicians who bring warmth and joy to Moog & Friends Hospice House. From weekly serenades to special holiday performances, our hospice music volunteers create comfort and connection for residents and families. A heartfelt thank you to Lara and Ken, Simon, and Grant for sharing their time, talent, and love of music with our community.
